Publisher’s Message

A message from the Publisher

WOW — what a response! Thank you to everyone who let us know how much they loved the first issue of The Good Life Magazine. We appreciate the feedback on the look and feel, content and most importantly the message. Not only was the message clear, but it resonated to so many readers.

This publication is meant to say, STOP and LOOK AROUND! We live in one of the greatest spots on Earth. It doesn’t get much better than South Florida. Certainly we can all make the case for great other parts of the world, but in my final analysis we rock right here and I am proud to live in our community. I want to remind all my friends (and myself) that we work for a reason. We work for our families, our loved ones, our desire to indulge in the grandeur of life. Work can be hard. If we create a broader community of professionals we can help each other enjoy our professions and our lives.

This issue has amazing information. One of my personal heros wrote a great piece on how to live a better life. His name is Tony Horton, and he is the star and creator of the P90X workout system sold at BeachBody.com. Tony’s article is filled with inspirational advice which, I personally have taken to heart. I am on round two of my P90X workouts and I am in the best shape of my adult life. We also have a fantastic article from the Grae family on philanthropy. They are one of the most unique and generous couples we have ever met. Finally, we had an opportunity to get yacht buying advice from Bob McKeage, one of the premier yacht brokers in the world. I believe the definition of a “Yacht” is when your boat is bigger than your house!

Although I do not yet have a yacht, I still love yachting! I also love gorgeous homes, but we can save the “Wildly Cool Mansion Theme” for another issue.

Enjoy the great advice, but if you buy a Yacht using Bob’s advice, then you owe me a ride! If you buy P90X.   I challenge you to get through the full Mason Twist during Ab Ripper X! Enjoy the Information and enjoy The Good Life Magazine.
